"The pain of staying the same is exceeding the fear of change." He is always an amazing voice of reason, it's outstanding he's negotiated some of the bill to come into effect by 2010. A true man of the people without any doubt. The second clip is well worth taking a look too.

2. Howard just oozes so much common sense

I don't see how he only shows up on interviews and speaking engagements and not at White House and Congressional
strategy sessions. Is Rahm's sway THAT heavy?

What America needs is a nightly TV broadcast about 15 minutes long every night and on every network called "Howard on Health."
After about a month of his straight talk, I'll bet the Senate would pass the Public Option with 65 votes or more due to
overwhelming pressure from their own constituencies. No right wing ranting can trump Howard's common sense, and the ones
susceptible to the frothing-at-the-mouth rantings of Beck, Hannity and Limbaugh never would have voted for a Demcorat
anyway, even if an election offered Jesus the Democrat vs. Satan the Republican, pretty much as Howard said.
