Summary: Cenk explains why it's a good thing that there is absolutely no Republican support for . Basically it's because the bill is terrible and just a big giveaway to the private insurance industry. But now that there's no Republican support, there is no (good) reason to try and pass a bill with no public option, no ability to negotiate with Big Pharma, etc. It puts tremendous pressure on reluctant Dems to have to vote for a better bill, especially since some good Dems have put their foot down by demanding a better bill.

Though I don't think it is much a surprise that republicans, to a one, won't vote for anything Democratic. They would lose the majority of their base, the lunatic fringe. I doubt the old money interests would go anywhere, but even with both intact they don't have the numbers.
