But I can't find anywhere that Maddow refers to all tea-baggers (including the black ones) as hating Obama because they're racists, frankly the very idea of that scenario is ludicrous.

As a white kid who was a minority in a black-majority school back in the early 90s, I can tell you that white kids were definitely targeted due to skin color. There was a tremendous amount of hostility. It was shocking and eye-opening for me to experience that a young kid. Unfortunately black on white racism is swept under the rug in the media.

Now, there may be a backstory to this that doesn't come through on this security camera footage- and I'm willing to wait until we know the whole story before making a final determination. Racism is bad no matter who is persecuting who, and being black does not excuse it.

As for that fat fuck Rush Limbaugh- to hear him talk you'd think this never happened before Obama was elected. maybe not in the all-white private school he attended, but I saw quite a bit of it in the public school I went to. Some of it worse than this.

It was either a bullying situation, or a smart remark made, or a girl friend problem, or a boyfriend problem. If you start rumors and spill negative propaganda about an opponent, or a race, or a schoolmate, people may begin to believe and fear, and strike out in fear to defend themselves.
