I'd probably want to get Wilson involved in some form of duel. I hear those old tymie racists love duels, I propose cannons at 500 yards. Let's see how fast that prick can tamp down a cannonball and adjust for windage.

3. Very important message policy first attention seeking made a last priority as it should be really...

It's really what the opposition is looking for to go off the topic of policy, so we spend time on all their drama. Then only policy and the people suffer, a very sensible message to media they can take it or leave it but it's out there for them to at least consider. But sure some of it is very hard to ignore. If they have fact based opposing views we're listening but when they state the ludicrous it doens't even have a response we can offer.

4. how does one reconcile this...?

First, not only was there Wilson's intentional undermining of the message as a lie, but following the speech, the right wing gets on to also, in no uncertain terms, call the President a liar.
Then I go to work today with all the wingnuts claiming that they actually read the 1000 page HR3200 and Wilson is right. So I call a health reform wonk who said that is ludicrous. So who's right? I don't have time to read the bill and I suspect my coworkers do either- but they show no compunction about lying themselves- bullies every one.
I find the disrespect for this president horrific. The bare-faced self-serving behavior of the Republicans I've never seen or imagined as being outside of an asylum.
