I thought we were so far beyond this stupidity. I was talking to my kids and I remembered my mother telling us about how her father sent an employee from Georgia to Alabama to bring her home because she was sick. He had no misgivings about sending a black man to pick up his white daughter. That was in the 1950's and that's the way it should be now. You'd at least think they'd trust a black man to speak to their kids on TV for 15 minutes.
