1. She presents that information as if the bill had a snowball's chance in hell to pass

when in fact in will be lucky to get 120 votes. HR 676 has only been put on the calendar for a vote as a courtesy to the single payer Democrats, to let them blow off some steam, and as a concession to get them to support a public option bill.

8. I agree. The whole exchange was surreal.

First we see a Fox News viewer who actually did some homework. Then she reads a terrific piece of legislation. Next McCain discusses one result of dramatically less expensive health care -- small businesses will universally snap up the opportunity to provide inexpensive worker benefits.

Of course, nobody in the room knows why this is a bad thing, and Republicans throughout the audience secretly think it sounds like a good idea, but they're still against it because they assume they just didn't really understand McCain's answer. They must have just missed something. It sounded too good to be true.

Oh well, next question.
