She's too stupid to be taken seriously. "Marriage in a universal human institution"? No, honey, you're confusing a man-made institution, the kind that's designed by organizations and governments, with love.

Love is a universal human institution. That's a natural fact.

But Maggie Gallagher, who hates while preaching religion, doesn't want to acknowledge that all people who love each other should be welcomed into that "universal human institution," regardless of their gender. By her reasoning, childless heterosexual couples are not quite Full Members in that exclusive little club.

Tell you what, Maggie - and I know this will get your attention, because I've seen you - let's all get behind the idea of gay marriage, and get the laws changed, and make gay marriages legal in all the states and recognized by the Federal government, and when we do that, Maggie? When we do that? Do you know what happens then?

of dollars from the Department of Health and Human Services from 2002-03 for helping the George W. Bush administration promote
the President's "healthy marriage" initiative. During this time, Gallagher testified before Congress in favor of "healthy marriage"
programs, but never disclosed the payments.
