When Canadians come to the US for healthcare, it's because the specialist in Canada are temporarily booked up. But, the Canadian government still pays for the care while you are in the US. It's called outsourcing nothing more.

Europeans don't travel to usa to get health care! Sounds like bullshit to me. I've never heard about any Swedes going to US for health care, that wouldn't make any sense. That is so ridiculous it's laughable.

Wow, a M$M report that lays it out, what we here at DU are already very familiar with: the US pays over twice what other advanced nations pay for healthcare per person per year, and we have worse outcomes by measures like infant mortality and life expectancy.
