so far, you've cited Obama's advice to "get in their faces" (twice, here and in another post) and a fictitious "fact" that "the government" would "tell us we need a will, every 5 years."

Obama was talking about righteous anger, about bank CEOs getting "bonuses" from our tax dollars. In your post at http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph... you include his saying “What I want to do, though, is channel our anger in a constructive way.” How is drowning out others speaking at a town hall meeting "constructive"?

Start by reading their websites and go to these areas. Find the local hotel that the buses are at, and
find a way to delay the buses from leaving for 30 min. or so. Wait till they load up and park a car in front of the bus, get out and raise the hood, tell them you have called AAA or something. But instead call the police to protect yourself from them. Risky I know but when the cops show up, the car mysteriously starts again and get out of there. A few minutes delay is all we need.

I want those decisions to be made by a clerk at my insurance company the way it ought to be!

The work being done to expose this current fiasco for what it is - a corporate-backed, Republican-organized "fact-free paranoia and rage" exhibition - is truly invaluable. I HATE the fact that so many people look at Rachel and say that because she is an openly gay American that somehow her views or her immense intellectual heft are lessened or compromised. Such bigotry is why America has entered a state of permanent decline unless we can get our dis-functional institutions back on track - our politics, our media and our print journalists.

Rachel Maddow has more integrity than all of Washington - including milquetoast President Obama - COMBINED! If nothing else, if health care is defeated and the smug asshats from the right claim that it was because of American's rejecting the idea, at the very least we will have a record for the future of what REALLY happened. I pray that enough sentient beings remain in America to note the difference in tenor, tone and content of what Rachel Maddow is saying and what Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh or even that gas bag moron Sarah Palin are saying.

We can disagree on an issue. We can argue about proposals and ideas. WE CANNOT COMPROMISE ON THE FACTS!!! Anyone who fails to support that sentiment is not rational, they are political and they are dangerous.
