| 2. If Democrats are not winning on this issue, it because the Democrats in Congress, |
|
especially in the Senate could not get their act together before they started preparing bills. I realize that Congress has approached this issue like they used to do before Bush. But the fact of the matter is that the American people got used to the fait accompli style of the Bush administration with the administration seemingly by magic getting a bill presented and pushed through Congress with barely time to read it.
The process used on this health care bill has been very confusing. Right now, I'm not certain what bill is really favored and most likely to pass in Congress (if any of them are). And the balking by the Blue Dogs is completely unacceptable. There are simply times when you go with the majority of your party even if you'd rather do something else. If this turns out to be a defeat, the Blue Dogs are to blame and they are going to have a tough time explaining what they have done. This is about saving people's lives. How many people have to die due to lack of preventive health care in order to persuade the Blue Dogs to do what is right and not what gets them the most campaign funds form their friends in the health care industry?

Now thats what I call journalism. This slimy little virus was sitting there squirming in his chair not expecting he would be exposed for the freak that he is. I posted this on another board and called it, "the more you watch, the more you learn". Slowly, the slime that he represents comes oozing out--little by little. "Well, I know Eric Cantor, he's a friend of mine". Yeah, the one from Ohio who is working against health care. He proved in front of a national audience that slime hangs out together. This is good this scumbag got exposed on air. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!
