That was when Michael became the massive superstar that he was

Everyone and I mean EVERYONE was talking about that the next day.

I was 16 at the time.

3. My cousin was the talent coordinator for that special. She had worked
for Berry Gordy. I had that program on video, but it walked off years ago.

10. I'm not a fan of most of MJ'smusic
but this song always sends a shiver up my spine. Brilliant. Of course, lip synced for this performance (sounds like it and Wikipedia confirmed it) but the dancing is spectacular.

he grew up watching MTV and with me and his brothers dancing in the living room along with MJ, this was his memory.
he knew I would know because Im on the net so much.
