People, watch this Op-Ed from last night's show. Ed leads the storm-front offensive against the right wing purveyors of greed and vindictiveness aimed at the American people.

4. What is ironic is that so many working class Americans buy into this crap.

I see it daily where working class Americans are assisting in their own economic suicide. It is difficult for me to feel very much sympathy for them when they lose their jobs or have their benefits eliminated. I hear the racist comments spewed by these ignoramuses as they are going down the drain economically.

I am convinced that the Republican Party now consists of the top ultra-wealthy 1% who control the Party with the remaining 99% consisting of brain dead losers. They daily swallow the propaganda of the Hannitys, Limbaughs and their ilk who line their pockets and could give a damn about their welfare. Every program that has been of benefit to the working class, Social Security, FDIC, GI Bill, FHA, Banking Regulation, CDC, clean water, Health Care, right to organize unions, etc., etc. has been produced by Democrats. Everyone of these bills that created the Middle Class has been the target of the wealthy Republicans who are determined to destroy the Middle Class and return them to the virtual slavery that they toiled under prior to the Roosevelt Fair Deal acts. I just shake my head in wonder when I see these brain dead jerks assisting in their own demise. The sad thing is these idiots are bring down everyone.

I can only speak for myself.

I voted for Obama thinking he would help the American worker. He hasn't. He is supporting the Wall Street crowd that has killed the middle class in America. He's continuing the "free trade" bs brought to us by NAFTA and GATT and the WTO.

He's bailed out Wall Street but Main Street?- he's told them to go claim bankruptcy.

Yeah, Obama is better than Bush. But what does that mean? A head of lettuce is better than Bush.

We all know right wing crazies who have radio shows are psychopaths and their listening audience is a fringe element of society.

The REAL problem is our economic system as it stands today. The financial sector of our economy is too large. When money is able to be made by deconstructing American society than the problem isn't some right wing lunatic talk radio crazies pandering to their asinine base.

He should be breaking up these "too big to fail" banks.

He should be re-instating the FDR era regulations that were repealed by both Democrats and Republicans.

Time to take off the Obama T-shirt and start calling a spade a spade.

on edit: as far as the foreclosure crisis is concerned, instead of giving more money to the banks so they could make good on their credit default swap bets - he could have just given the money to the homeowners in crisis or he could have made the banks renegotiate the terms of the loans. It would have been much cheaper and would have solved the problem sooner.
