Some highlights

CNN: Rudy Giuliani asked you to take your words back.
Are you going to take your words back? Have you thought about this?

RP: Yes. I thought about it and decided that I am not going to take them back.
Because there is no reason to, he is the one that is confused.

CNN: John Edwards said that War on Terror is a bumper sticker. Do you agree with that?
RP: Terrorism is a tactic, it is not an enemy.
It is just the tactic that various enemies use.
You cannot have a war against a tactic...
... We have a reason to attack and eliminate Al-Quaeda...
but we are not doing that

Bush: We are there at the invitation of the Iraqi government ...
RP: *laughs*
Bush: ... if they are to say: "Leave", we would leave

RP: Well. I think that is very good. Since they are just about to do it and
I think that is very encouraging that he (Bush) came around to that point...

----
So, do you think that republicans are slowly getting ready to cave in on the Iraq war? (based on Bush comment)
I think their strategy is to pretend that they do it on their own and not because of the pressure from democrats in congress

P.S.

Is it ok to laugh when Bush says: "We are there at the invitation of the Iraqi government".
I think CNN suspected that some non-verbal reaction will happen when Ron hears that and did the split screen shot.

5. This is some more of that media bias...
There have been dems who have said the same thing and the media ignores it.

8. "Is it true that all candidates would take your position if this was a Democratic war?"
Now that's a question for Ron Paul. I hope RP flogs the whole bunch the next debate with that sentiment.

12. "Let me stop you there....so you agree with Jon Edwards..."
how blatant can the "interviewer" (if he qualifies for that term) be about not wanting Ron Paul to get his own message out?

Dr. Paul did fine but I would have liked to see him give longer answers and NOT let the CNN guy "stop you there"

13. yep. Interviewer wanted to get "Paul says WoT is a bumper sticker too"
Instead interviewer got a reasonable explanation of why war on terror is indeed a nonsensical combination of words.
