The lobbying profession in America actually started out as a somewhat noble cause. Citizens would gather to lobby their government for better policies and more protections. But somewhere in history, corporations decided that they wanted in on this, and turned the lobbying profession into one of the most corrupt and self-serving industries in America. Mike Papantonio of Air America's Ring of Fire talks about this shift, and how lobbyists are taking over our democratic process, with Robert Kaiser, author of the new book, "So Damn Much Money."
