4. I have a pretty good idea of what DeMint means by "freedom."
Tax cuts for millionaires, let business do anything it damn well pleases, no social spending, no public education, in short, a feudal society. He can take his perverse notion of freedom and shove it up his ass.

5. worked for who, though?
yeah, it worked for corporations to have you senators in their back pockets, selling us out as you all wiped your asses with the constitution.

IT AIN'T WORKING ****NOW**** AND YOU HAVEN'T GOT ANY SOLUTIONS. You drove the car into the ditch and now you want to get back behind the wheel because you think that the solution is to put the car in drive, gun the engine and wedge the car further into the ditch. That ain't freedom. Being stuck is not freedom, stupid.

7. "...biggest tent of all is freedom..." WTF
This guy is an idiot (the Senator not Sanchez).

First he comes up with, "...the biggest tent of all is freedom...". Wow.

Then when Sanchez rightfully asks him, "What the hell does that mean? You've got to do better than that!". DeMint follows with "government expanding into all areas of our economy, increasing spending and debt at levels we've never talked about..."

Where in the hell has this guy been while we cut taxes and massively increased spending to fund two wars? Where in the hell was he when it became so difficult and unpleasant to fly that many of us stopped and drove whenever we could due to major restrictions to our rights and freedoms? Where the hell was he when the Bush regime was setting up free speech zones so far away from the event that groups wanted to protest could be safely ignored by the MSM? Where was this guy when the local police were preemptively arresting people before they even got anywhere near the Republican convention? Where the hell was he when a man was arrested just for telling Cheney off? Where was he when Ari Fleischer was darkly warning that people needed to watch what they said when criticizing the Iraq war?

He was in the Senate voting for the off budget war appropriations that ballooned our national debt to trillions. He was in the Senate voting for the Bush tax cuts and later to make them permanent. And now he wants to tighten the belt when every economist on every side of the argument says that to rein in government spending now is to pour gas on the economic fire that is melting down our economy. But if this was spending proposed by a Republican administration he'd be all for it. I guarantee!

Keep talking DeMint and Steele and Limbaugh and Graham and all of you. It is midnight in the land of Republicans and dawn is a long way away. You and your entire party are now officially irrelevant. You haven't the votes to even mount a filibuster in the Senate.

By the way, Sebelius was just confirmed 65-31. Your party unravels as we speak.

8. Wrong audience baby! Talk about your Tent on Fox or at a Tea party and maybe people will cheer
In those places, you can yell Freedom while you take it away. Anybody else will have a reaction like Rick Sanchez did.

Okay, I have hit the point where I no longer think Rick Sanchez is an asshole and actually like him now. Way to go, Rick.

9. Hey DeMint-
Looks like only 21% of the people will admit to being anywhere near that tent that you're talking about.
