A sense of shame or of irony or of history or a sense of anyone or anything beyond their immediate bigotry has no place in that world. I wish I could tell you that this woman was the exception and not the rule in the Lone Star State.

(East Texas is not full of stupid people, but you would think they were because of her.) It's not just east Texas, it's the whole state. I blame Texas public education and the absolutely corrupt from top to bottom state government. I mean Jesus, look at the useless shit-heels we keep putting in the Governors mansion. Do you think the legislature is any better than Good Hair Perry? The state of Texas is a once wonderful idea pushed down the shit-hole by greed and lies and stupidity and willful ignorance. No wonder that Molly Ivins called Texas the American National Laboratory for Bad Government.
