1. It makes one wonder -- did Newt use up all his Baptist followers?

This guy is NOT someone who joins a group to go to the cookouts. I wonder what changed (other than the third wife, who evidently is Catholic) -- were his fellow Christians not willing to blindly follow him anymore?

I hope Catholics realize he's only joining to look for another group of sheep to *lead*. He's a snake. Period.

3. And his current "marriage" won't be recognized by the Church unless his first one is annulled

by the Catholic Church. That takes some doing and will take some time and money.

Now, if his first wife is dead he could remarry according to the Catholic Church butif she's still alive then first marriage will have to be annulled in order for him to "marry" his current wife "in the Church".

6. Before the Ga. legislature (both dem and rep) gerrymandered the

house districts, I actually voted for this clown (once). He took the seat of long time democrat Jack Flynt back in 78, after losing to him twice, I believe. In his first race for the vacated seat, he ran against Virginia Shapard, an outstanding and brilliant person (no relation). Unfortunately, this was the beginning of the Ga. knuckle-dragging and extends til today. After that, the Dems couldn't find anyone to beat him, thus creating this monster. So, So Sorry.
