I saw this testimony on Democracy Now; it's well worth viewing. It will make you angry, and just might frighten you.

Jeremy wrote a book on Blackwater and these private contractors. He came to the UU church on Front Street in San Diego, and gave a talk. I bought a copy of the book, and he signed it. He's a very nice person, and laughed when I told him that I had played with two kids growing up - Mary and Joseph Schmitz (and their sibs) - while our parents were at political gatherings (Google Cong. John Schmitz and Mary LeTourneau and Joseph Schmitz, CLC for Blackwater). Who knew how it would all turn out (hint: Danny's kid - me - turned into a flaming liberal)?

This is an insult to our patriotism, and our support of the "troops"... the REAL American soldiers who are fighting in our name.

Corporatism. It's the republican way.
