14. Republican as simplistic thinkers

As I listen to the economists, they talk about the link between health care and the problems of small business. Many small businesses close or stop paying for health care because of the increase in costs. Almost all of the so called gains in income to the middle class are actually increases in cost of health care. Card obviously doesn't seem to understand how the rising cost of health care is large part of the problem with the economy. If we don't fix health care, we don't fix the economy.
