A compilation of how Faux "News" are using the meme that was prepared for them by Politico's Jonathan Martin

And now this 'black propaganda' lie has spread to the Washington Times, as reported here on post #17: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x5188926

2. "Issues" such as while Hannity et al whine about "earmarks", the FACT
is of the top 10 earmarks, SIX are republicans; of the top 5, THREE are republicans.

Does Hannity want to discuss that "issue"?

No, didn't think so.

How 'bout the fact that those earmarks are $500 million LESS than last year's, under hannity's revered George W. bush regime?

No?

How 'bout the fact that Pres. Obama promised to lower those earmarks to 1994's figure...and did so?

Still crickets chirping, huh.

3. Isn't great to know Karl Rove is on the OUTSIDE of our government now
Of course, it would be better if he were OUTSIDE of it's borders as well, but I'll take it.

4. It's more that the GOP is using the Limbaugh issue to divert attention from their own incompetence

6. OK, on Karl Rove's comments:
Big problems facing our country? That's your fault along with your buddy shrub. You argue that Obama's admin has cooked this Limbaugh controversy up to distract people and the media from the budget? The spending bill is Bush's from last year, right? Repukes are getting their earmarks right? And didn't Limbaugh and Michael Steele start this whole thing? They fell into the trap laid down by Democrats, and now you blame the Dems for their miscalculation? Rove is just pissed off because the pukes got beat and now they are looking like last year's left-overs.

7. Rove is one to talk about creating distractions when HE initiated the patriotism nonsense
that lead to the their first midterm election success and the war in Iraq.

Obama drew them into this with ONE statement over a month ago "You are not going to get anywhere listening to Rush Limbaugh"
Emmauel fanned the flames once with his appearance on the Sunday morning show (probably some behind the scenes too)
and the Republicans took the bait creating hoisting Rush up their lanyard as the MAN in opposition to THE MAN-the politics of the exulted individual

They fell for it and now they have been taken off their only game plan which is:
stay on message
hammer it home day after day after day
dominate each 24 hour news cycle

They, the Repubs, are carrying out this game plan but not in an attack against the Dems but on themselves.

Fun to watch.

8. The noise machine
ain't what it used to be. They're still throwing tantrums and getting the attention of the least educated, but a bag of shit by any other name is still a bag of shit.
When times are tough bullshit doesn't sell like it does otherwise. That they've been the source of bad information that enabled a criminal administration to rape and plunder us into a depression is being noticed. The luxury of bigotry is a nonstarter when we all have to rely on our neighbors for the greater good.
The hate and fear mongers spewing Nazi propaganda, divisive rhetoric, and flat out lies are in denial if they think the majority of us believe their insane rambling.
What worked for so many years is now defunct. We've turned the page and the Neanderthals of the right wing haven't learned yet.
When talking ass boil and bloated Nazi propagandist Rash Limbaugh is your leader, the light at the end of the tunnel is a train coming in the other direction.
