Rachel makes a good attempt trying to talk sense to this repuke, he probably still doesn't get it.

4. I just got done watching this on the podcast

and I almost woke my boyfriend up from literally busting out rotflmmfao at this deluded shmuck who, despite huge and growing amounts of unemployment, swears that there's plenty of jobs to go around, and says that there wasn't enough infrastructure spending in the bill, and just....it's so wrong...I mean, I almost felt bad for laughing because there was just SOOO MUCH ignorance...but screw it!

If this is the best that the Republican Party can do for a spokesman, they're really in big trouble. He never comes out except around election time. He happens to be elected from an area of Illinois that would vote for anybody who was Republican.

17. He only has an email addy during the election season.

The rest of the time he is unreachable.

He has sponsored only four pieces of legislation in the 16 or so years he has been in office.

He promised to term-limit himself voluntarily.

He has a zero rating from the League of Conservation Voters in this largely rural area. He is one of four Congressmen with a zero rating.

Other Democrats went to his Rockford office en masse when he was in favor of bush's plan to "reform" Social Security. He refused to have a town hall meeting with them, and his aide tried to get everyone to leave, because he alleged that there was no room for the twenty or so people who showed up. They had their own town hall meeting without Manzullo. It received very little publicity.

This is all he has. He has nothing. He is truly a little man.
