5. emancipate the impoverished...the poor...which includes blacks among others
Wish someone would make that point rather than making it seem it's all about his being black when really it was all about his being the best man...a man of hope and vision...oh, and did I mention...he also happens to be half black...Carter was only ten percent black right...oh hell, it doesn't matter.

6. That's the whole point. The electorate looked past the color.
That's what MLK wanted. They voted for Obama because of the content of his character, not because of his race. When over 50% of Americans can make that choice based on the issues and the man, then we have overcome the boundary seperating the races. Not entirely overcome, for every person, but overcome enough to make the dream reality. We'll never be perfect (cuz of freepers, etc) but we can overcome the least of us (freepers) to make a better world.:bounce:
