in the UK and also sociable enough to show at open mic uke nights that others arrange.

6. Versatility is good...humor, too.

The woodwind quintet I used to play in did a lot of wedding reception background music. It was tons of fun. We worked up a cover of "Sweet Home Alabama," which always broke the crowd up. We'd pull it out when things slowed down. I did the vocals. The clarinet player was a good hand with an electric guitar, and the bassoon player did fine on bass.

Once we finished that, we'd drop back into our usual Mozart, etc.

Cracked folks up, I tell you.
