1. Sing it Huck!
The nuttier your party gets, the more it will be marginalized.

15. He wants to change the constitution to reflect the laws of the
old testament in the bible. That is the MAIN reason why I don't like him and we all are screwed if he or Sarah Palin becomes president.

5. Absolutely!
I agree wholeheartedly. The GOP should absolutely move farther to the authoritarian/dogmatic right. The party should tolerate no dissent and anyone who can't fully support its platform should be shut out.

Go Huckster!
Purge, baby, purge!

18. Interesting view.
I remember this argument from 20 years ago, it was the argument that liberals must purge the party of all but the purist ideological Democrats, so it seems, we have come full circle.

11. Abortion and gay marriage
I love how those "issues" really are the only things important to most Republicans, and anymore, it's all that defines their party.

12. Couldn't agree more
The more Republicans focus on "traditional marriage" and being "pro-life" at the expense of every major issue of importance to Americans, the more 2006 mid-term and 2008 GE election results Democrats and indies will continue to have.

Go for it, Huck! Spread that Repub gospel. The ENTIRE WORLD would rejoice at the demise of the Repub party.

"Squishy Middle"??? Another republican who has been living in a bubble! Though I think this is just self-promotion on his part. I don't really think he really believes that crap, he believes in Huckabee.
