1. I can't remember the name of this group, but , that reminds me.....
Whatever happened to that group that organized a large group of churches to support McCain right before the election and risk losing their tax exempt status? Can they now be prosecuted?

2. This is what's left of the Republican Base...
Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage. You know...Morons.

I'm pretty sure that pastor wouldn't know Jesus if he walked up to him and punched him in the face. I want people like him to have as much exposure as possible, because maybe the American people are finally waking up (Oh that's right, 'Dancing with the Stars' is still on).

7. Jesus would be screamed down as a "socialist"
If Jesus wondered among the GOP and repeated what he is alleged to have said regarding the poor: "Come, enter the Kingdom. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was sick and you visited me."

They would call him a stinking bleeding-heart liberal do-good tree-hugging socialist who hates America.

All the likes Dobson, Falwell, Perkins, Robertson can ever say they have done is to raise lots of money to build lots of empires unto themselves. And claimed to speak for God The Republican.

To them: "Depart from me because I was hungry and you did not feed me, I was thirsty and you did not give me to drink, I was sick and you did not visit me." These will ask Him, "When did we see You hungry, or thirsty or sick and did not come to Your help?" And Jesus will answer them, "Whatever you neglected to do unto one of these least of these, you neglected to do unto Me!"

THE COAL INDUSTRY comes in here ( Appalachia ) decapitates our mountains all for the love of money and greed. We can't stand another day of Presidebt Bush's progress and prosperity. Wise County. 16. one tiny suggestion ......................
I agree.

Now, let us recognize not all morons are alike. Some are just dumb, but not dangerous, racist, homophobic, worship Rush, O'Liely, Sean, et al, I could go on, but I think you get the idea. That's right, I am talking about 'teh base' on which republicans have bet the farm one time too many.

Henceforth, they will be morAns, thereby forever separating them from morOns like me and some others.

Remember: dummies = morons. republicans = morans.

My work is done here.

14. I'm having a bit of difficulty parsing your sarcasm, but let's hope the improvement is exponential
In that case it would take a lot less than 40 years for Texas to tilt blue. :hi:

15. The times they are a changin down here!
It may not be as fast as we would like but we had great success in many local elections. Harris County (Houston area) had all Republican Judges before the election. Now all are Democrat except 3 or 4. There are dozens of Judges in Harris County. If we could just give up the panhandle area, we would be a blue state. Unfortunately, it is almost all Kool Aid drinkers up there.

5. These lunatic people will destroy the Republican party....
Just a note......I sent an email to conservative columnist Kathleen Parker today. She wrote an article yesterday how the religious right is destroying the GOP. Kathleen states what riled her is when Sarah "Smile" Palin stated that God will have to give her an answer if she will run in 2012, and if he wanted her to go through that door. I told Kathleen that the GOP is an alcoholic and the Christian right is old Hennessey. You know my friends, That's a deadly combination.

6. If these staunch GOP keep perpetuating hate there won't be a party come 2012
Stop listening to the lunatic fringe of the party and come back to the mainstream. You don't have to go over that cliff with your fellow neo-cons.

9. Curcuitous Thinking Pattern
It's racist, it's xenophobic, and it's ignorance. Logic will never prevail with this bunch. The most we can hope for is to identify and keep an eye on them.

If I didn't know personally that Rick Sanchez is a stumbling drunkard, I'd like it a whole lot more. Used to work with him at WSVN in Miami.
