The Obama Democratic Mandate - Obama Watch
In spite of a gamed and prostituted election system, America
has sent a resounding condemnation to the Republican party and
all the monumental corruption, failure and deceit of the Bush
Cheney administration.
Bush never won an election in the first place so the Obama
victory is a first in over a decade just for the fact that he
won by a significant majority of the popular vote as well as
by a crushing majority of electoral votes, and ACORN's hired
help making up voters like Mighty Mouse, Mike Hunt and Phil
McCrackin didn't swing the victory- sorry wing nuts.
GET OVER IT!
You lost. Suck it!
Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and George W. Bush have officially
eviscerated the Republican party. Those drooling freaks that
turned out for McCain Palin rallies really put a few more
nails in the coffin of the Republican party.
While many still try to claim that this election’s competitors
were the same, some of us seem to have had the uncanny
ability to discern differences- some tens of millions of us.
Rather than letting a few pitch fork wielding apoplectic
apocalyptic zealots hand the keys over to what the
illuminutty claim to be the same candidate with the same
goals, same values and the same supporters as Barack Obama,
some of us perceived the differences and bothered to vote
accordingly.
It's not a divine secret or some indication of higher
intellectual ability to believe that money and power and those
that have it wield a disproportionate influence on the
political systems of all nations including and especially
America. The important question is what are we going to do
about it?
That’s where we need to focus our attention and efforts and
that is likely where the biggest differences lie.
I fully intend to cover the New World Order in future segments
but no once can successfully argue that Barack Obama and John
McCain were the same and our votes didn't matter. They're not
and they did.
I love George Carlin but his is not the plan I agree with.
Abandoning the system is not a clearly superior choice to me.
Right now, as corrupt, feeble and gamed as it is, we have
before us the skeleton of a system that allows us the
potential to change it from the roots up.
I believe that this is either denied out of hand or just too
much work for some of the doom and gloomers.
The fact is that it will take time dedication, patience,
perseverance and involvement to change things. much of which
is just too demanding for those who would rather dress up like
super heroes and blow shit up or hide in their cabins 'till
the Lord descends from the clouds as they fondle their ammo.
This election is important but it is just the first tiny step
in a long uphill journey.
Many newcomers have joined the political process for the first
time. This election has generated record setting numbers of
new voters and that is a great thing but by no means the end
game. Barack Obama has won and now he will face an avalanche
of libel, slander and all manner of sabotage from the moral
midgets on the right.
If you have been paying attention to this campaign you have
seen the disgusting and backward fear mongers and bigots, the
fruit of decades of right wing seeds of hate sewn by Fox News
and Republican blow hards on radio and television. They are
not going to disappear, the business of actually undoing the
devastation wrought by the Bush/Cheney administration will be
very difficult. Those pitch forkers that turned out in number
for McCain Palin are not going to suddenly grow a frontal
lobes.
Let's also not forget the Republican knob polishing Democrats
in Congress that helped stick the icepick in Lady Liberty's
back.
We must stay on top of this thing. I have suspicions that
Barack is going to govern from the center, but there are
issues that we as Liberals should be prepared to fight for and
resist compromise on.
It remains to be seen if Barack will turn back the
Constitution desecrating Civil Rights trashing policies put in
place by Bush the Bumbler and the Republican freaks in
Congress. HE could fail us miserably- or he may not but we
can't give up and remain silent.
The American Federal Government has been desecrated by the
Bush Cheney cabal and it will be no small task trying to clean
the blood of Freedom and the Constitution off the walls and
carpets of the White House.
This election shows that we can make a difference but don't
let your idealism and your possible dashed hopes make you a
do-nothing snob.
Be prepared for disappointment and compromise- be prepared for
the "Liberal" media circus to try and grab Obama and
Liberals by the ankles. The media are a business, their goal
is to make money not serve justice and America. You have to be
resourceful, independent and proactive.
I have launched a new website http://TheFrankFactor.com with
the intention of having a place for us to gather and help
shape our objectives. It's a little stark over there right now
but I'm hoping to provide a starting point for all of us to be
able do our research on issues and events and to contact and
influence our representatives. Maybe even some surveys and
polls.
I also intend to create a resource that will succinctly
explain our Government, how it works and some of its
historical highlights.
Government makes a difference and we can make a difference in
government for better or worse. If we all stay involved, if we
make it part of our lives, part of being a responsible
American, parent, and human being, we can bring about the
change we want to see.
We have to be patient and persistent.
Abstinence is not the best policy for the future of America.
Let's stay together. Let's work together.
