On a topic in GD, a play list for the forthcoming landslide victory of Obama was discussed and somebody mentioned Mavis Staples and I immediately thought of Eyes of the Prize which was used as the title for a great documentary about Martin Luther King jr. and the Civil Rights Movement.
As I watch it, I noticed that the view count of that documentary isn't very high and I assume that very few are aware of its existance. Wednesday is going to be a historic day. Not only will this eight year long nightmare called Bush administration come to an end, another historic milestone will have been reached, so maybe it is good to use an hour or so and reacquaint yourself with what it is what is almost a certainty now as a reminder that Hope and Change are not idle concepts even though they often feel like that.
