She used to portray herself as an old hippy/flower child but it seems lately she's come out of that closet and is a full fledged right winger like him. He has always been hateful.

I get sick to my stomach if I'm zipping down the dial and, accidentally, hit on their station - 99% of the callers are NOT Chicago people but area rednecks and assorted cranks.

Its a shame as it used to be a very decent station until they went "right" (ugh!)

WLS-AM has a very powerful signal, so when I was a Chicagoan, I really only listened to Don Wade & Roma when I was driving back home from a business trip to Indiana or Wisconsin. It was the only Chicago station I could pick up.

Roma has a sickly sweet voice that's kind of nauseating, but she's harmless. Don't isn't really very funny and I never agreed with his politics, but this is really beyond the pale. He should be canned. But then, he won't be, because we're talking about AM radio.
