Based on the scary ACORN and "voter fraud".

No points out, of course, that this was all tied in to the AG scandal.

3. I don't think it's gonna work
Randi Rhoads just opened her show with a whole montage of conservatives talking about how McCrazy is toast, and his campaign sucks, and how Obama's going to win in a landslide "just like Reagan did" (their words, not mine).

So if their own people know that Gramps is sinking, they can't exactly sell the "it was stolen" lie. Sure, FAUX will probably try, just to keep the Freepers pissed off. But they will be a tiny minority

4. How did the Republican's catch all these so called phony ACORN
voter registrations? How is it they know exactly where to look? Where is the proof that the registrations were collected by ACORN?

As I understand it the registrations have ACORN written on them and they are all written in the same hand writing. But there is no one that knows exactly who it was that turned them in. They have no names on the registrations to identify anyone connected with ACORN. So how do we know this wasn't a Republican plot to discredit ACORN?

And one last point. Just because a fake name was used to register doesn't mean an impostor will turn up on election day and try to cast an illegal vote.

6. well one things for sure, if they decide to fight the outcome
theyll be as vicious as in 2000..

i hope lessons were learned by our leaders and we will crush any sign of such a movement...
we need to treat them like they did us in 2000
call them babies , whiners, and weak... and say they are destroying the constitution causing a national emergency and threat to our security

8. In 2000, the right wingers plan was to overthrow the election
The assumption in 2000 was that while Al Gore would win the necessary electoral votes for the presidency, George "Wanna Go Get A Beer?" Bush would sweep the popular vote. So the right wing had planned a coordinated all-out assault on Gore's assumed win -- television and radio pundits would scream about thwarting "the will of the people" (as if they cared about the will of the people) and the GOP would launch an barrage of lawsuits. It was GOP SOP: if you can't win by the rules, change the rules.

We know what happened. Al Gore won not only the electoral vote but he also beat out Bush in the national popular vote by a quarter-million votes. So the Repukes had to fall back on Plan B, which was to have the Supreme Court appoint Bush president.

"Voter fraud" is their battle cry this year, and ACORN happens to be a convenient target, since most people (me included) had never heard of this group and had no idea of who they were or what their purpose was. They're a blank canvas. This allows the GOP to define ACORN however it wants -- in this case as a corrupt organization whose sole purpose is to commit voter fraud. And since they hit first and hit loudest, any response by ACORN or the Democrats or the MSM to set the record straight is going to be lost on the unwashed masses. In their minds, an Obama win equals ACORN voter fraud equals a stolen McCain win.

This will be what they do, even if McSame loses by a 2-1 margin. The GOP may not be able to keep Obama from being president, but it will enable the GOP minority to claim "he's only there because of voter fraud" and thus his presidency is illegitimate. This will give them the reason to obstruct every initiative Obama puts forward, all the while claiming that he is ineffective because he's too young to have any ideas.

..if they were indeed interested in the topic of voter fraud? Only looking on one side; too, I see.

14. The first time I ever laid eyes on that show was during the 2000 post election battle....
I will NEVER forget how they invited a group of protesters off the street to dance around the studio like idiots with a huge "SORE LOSER MAN" banner........

I can't wait.
