Strange, I'm totally clueless why people say Palin is "sexy" or "hot". And I sure know hot when it strolls by!

I have guesses.
1. Because that's the McCain campaign meme, and it's a meme she's comfortable with since her teen years. So it's a plus for her when people play that meme back, whether for or against - it puts that meme, and the attendent "personality" memes front and center and disposes with real politics.
2. Because a lot of men and women are very insecure about physical appearance, and sexuality, and haven't the wherewithall to deride a "wow, she's hot" meme when it comes from the MSM political hucksters, when it gets drummed into the masses by authority figures - however shallow they might know that authority to be. So they assent to the meme, they assent to allowing the meme to override any of their real political concerns.
3. Because people aren't getting out on the streets enough, with the *positive* Obama message, but instead are waiting for it to happen for them, waiting for an official Obama event to do it for them. So, in the meantime, they let the Republican machine walk all over them, they allow themselves to be paralyzed by opinion polling. And God help us but they're then surprised when the identical population that voted in W twice gets turned on a dime by the same forces that turned the last two elections, to the same effect.

In spite of an entire primary process which showed the power and popularity of Obama's positive campaigning, his positive message, a very large segment of Dems have yet to figure it out and apply it to the GE. I won't speculate on reasons for this, because that, too, would be to enter negative psychology. But there's not much time left for the campaign to get back on track with an unified positive message, an unified positive population of Dem backers, that totally overrides the McCain campaign of lies.
