I see nothing here showing what an uncontrolled collapse should look like. We are shown an orange as it were but we are not shown an apple for comparison. Instead we are told that this is not what an uncontrolled collapse looks like. So show us an uncontrolled collapse of a comparable building.

Following the "extraordinary claims" dictum, where are all the videos or photos of buildings spontaneously collapsing straight down into their own footprint?

You know, the same type of structure that the WTC was? In other words, do you have photos or videos of buildings over 30 stories in America built according to our code to collapse straight down into their own footprints in case of catastrophic collapse--as the WTC was, including WTC7--falling sideways?

Just for the fun of it, because I like slamming my head against stone: The building was heavily damaged in the attacks. You can see debris slamming against it in some of the videos of the collapsing towers, and an 18 story scoop of the SW corner was smashed out of the building, about two windows deep. WTC 7 was supported in the center, not on the corners, so the damage there would not have caused the building to topple sideways, it would have put more stress on the center supports, already weakened by heavy (yes, heavy) fires and the system shock of two 100+ story towers collapsing nearby.

Fires were burning heavily (I'll include a link that shows actual pictures, rather than the couple of carefully selected and cropped photos the conspiracy folk show), and at times smoke was billowing out. The fire department earlier in the day had begun pulling people from around the building because it was buckling and leaning, and this was reported and shown on the news while it was happening.

In the end, the stress of the damage caused the building to do exactly what it was engineered and designed to do, and what we had been told since its construction it was designed to do in case of catastrophic failure--collapse into its own footprint.

That's the real orange. If you are told that an orange is a little round ball, you might think any little round ball was an orange. But if you understand what you are seeing, you will be better at identifying an actual orange when you see it.

...and yet somehow, we can hear the loud explosions in the CD buildings while, on the other hand, the "demolition explosions" in WTC7 don't seem to blow out the windows of the building, let alone neighboring buildings.

Why do you suppose that is?

Whether t'is an orange... a tangerine... or a grapefruit... or some other tasty citrus... is not the issue. We have been told it is a banana. Do you not get the paradigm? The official story directly contradicts known, provable, facts of the physical universe. Now I made not be educated enough to know the difference between a tangerine and a grapefruit... but tell me that that citrus is a banana, and I apologize in advance for laughing in your face.

No steel-structure building has ever collapsed solely due to fire. No building in an uncontrolled collapse has ever fallen inside its own footprint. Not that it rarely happens. Not that it occasionally happens. But that it NEVER happens. What I saw (and I have seen a few) was a controlled demolition. I heard Larry Silverstein CALL it a controlled demolition. I have further seen no evidence to remotely demonstrate that it was NOT a controlled demolition.

And, while I had my suspicions about that.... while I have never been sure how deep the conspiracy goes... while I had been willing to posit that MAYBE some members of the cabinet are not evil traitors, bent on fascistic overthrow of the republic... it was how the government acted after the attack that confirmed it for me.

They had USA PATRIOT ACT poised in the wings. They had Iraq poised in the wings. They immediately committed gross war crimes and immediately began dismantling the constitution. They used the attacks to prop up their illegitimate cabal... and then enlarged the wickedness by instantly attacking, not only defenseless, innocent, civilians half a world away... BUT EVEN THEIR OWN, LAW-ABIDING, PATRIOTIC citizens.

You see... you have it backwards... we are not fooled by the trick. WE don't believe the magician is a wizard. We're sitting here going... "Look there's the fucking trap door, people... the magician is a sham. The act is a hoax..." while the "believers" are going, "no, no... look... he really did cut that woman in half, honest."

Why is there even an argument? Next to Auschwitz, the burning of the Reich-stag is small potatoes. Next to the illegal invasion of a sovereign nation, as well as systematic, illegal torture and murder of detainees... a little false flag op and the destruction of three old, half-empty buildings is also small potatoes.

And who does belief in the false story aid?

If we truthers are wrong... then all you have lost is a little energy, from watching your government. Which is what you should be doing anyway, that's your citizen's duty. If we are right, though... and we get you to act in time.... then maybe we can just avert disaster.

Maybe you'd rather be amused by fruits and magician's side-shows.

18. I'm still unconvinced...

I'm a very skeptical type. I neither trust the gvt completely nor alternate theories completely. I have an open mind. But a glance at this new report has not yet satisfied my questions about WTC7. I think lilgrasskikka has some points here.

But even without the "crazy" theories about WTC7 being planned or 911 being planned by the gvt, we can see that Bushco has been a disaster for this country.

How do you fit a plane inside a hole several times smaller without leaving any damage to the surrounding building (pentagon) and its windows or leave any wreckage outside?

How do you have an ensuing fire that's suppose to have been hot enough to consume near 100% of the supposedly commercial jet that hit the pentagon but not consume any of the bodies? Were the people made out of Kryptonite or something?

How do you have the BBC reporting that WTC7 has collapsed some 20min's before it actually did? Ooops.
