Don't know if this qualifies for a political video but Wes IS a political figure.

Here's a short bit of video shot by someone who was in on a meeting Wes held with some bloggers, supporters, etc. a while ago. Someone asks him about Gert, his wife. "Gert's great!" he says....which is what one of the supporter-made Clark campaign buttons said in the '04 campaign.

There's just something really sexy, I think, about a guy who loves his wife so, especially after they've been together so many years. The General's General, he calls her. They are really a joy to watch together. She'll make a great First Lady. :)

And a couple of weeks ago, there was an Enquirer cover that said "BUSH LEAVES LAURA", which when I saw it made me think, OK, he's the fucking President of the United States of America -- he HAS to live in the residence. Where's he going to go? Is he about to hop it to a motel with 20 Secret Service agents? Hey, maybe he could show up at the next-door neighbour's house and say, "Hey, Larry, kin ya put me up for the night? The ol' lady's on a tear!"
