Keith Olbermann reports on Scott McClellan's new book, "What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception" which reveals the culture of spin and propoganda of the Bush White House leading up to and during the Iraq War.

In the book, McClelllan writes: "Bush's presidency "wandered and remained so far off course by excessively embracing the permanent campaign and its tactics. He says Bush relied on an aggressive "political propaganda campaign" instead of the truth to sell the Iraq war.

1. He introduced Dana Milbank
as formally of the washington post. Does he not work there anymore?

2. I'm pretty sure Millbank still writes for WaPo
Perhaps Olbermann was talking about a specific position Millbank used to hold?

I really don't know.

3. Millbanks is still at Wash Post
Millbanks is a former White House correspondent for the Post; he works for them in another position, however.

4. Puzzled. Appeasement. Elitist.
Is there any doubt that there is a concerted effort within the Bush Administration to disperse talking points to all of their surrogates (including the media gerbils)?

Whether you are hearing it from the Limbaughs, et al or the administration itself, they always use that same key word or phrase when addressing the issue of the day in a way that it oversaturates the media so that the dumbasses in this country who can't think for themselves repeat that word or phrase when engaging in conversation with friends, co-workers, etc.
