3. It's over
It HAS to be over now. This, this is just too much. And her "sorry if anyone was offended" non-apology was even more insulting. This must be the last straw.

5. What she has done the past two weeks is to ensure
Not only that she will never win a nomination race in the Democratic Party, but that she cannot possibly serve in his administration in any capacity, and would not be in line if something DID happen to Obama before November.

If the unthinkable did happen, the only way this party could come together is to draft a candidate that is respected. And when you think about it, we have many great leaders in our Party that nearly all of us could rally behind under those dire circumstances. Just to name a few: Gore, Dean, Kerry, Clark, Richardson, Edwards, Webb and many more. All great people of courage, wisdom and dignity. The name Hillary will never be on that list, so she might as well stop wishing for something to happen to Obama.

It is time for her to shut up and sit down. Enough.

7. I used to respect her
For a long time, I thought she would have made a damn fine president. Even when I picked Obama (my fourth choice), it was only by the slimmest of margins but this... I know politics is a dirty game and I know that pretty much every politician is, to some extent, in it for self-serving reasons but there has to be a line. Call it ethical or moral, there has to be some kind of line that decent people do not cross.

6. Huffing and puffing
You know, since the primaries began, KO has been huffing and puffing and blowing it out his ass. I know there are a lot of KO fans out there, but sorry -- he's started to believe his own press clippings. This Special Comment is way out of line.

16. Because he speaks the truth? Although Bush/Cheney would undoubtedly
love to repeal it the first amendment still stands. Hillary is free to speak her mind, and we are free to critique her statements. I'm sorry if that offends you.

9. Down Keith, Down!
I still have some respect for Keith Olbermann. And I am an Obama supporter.

However his "Special Comments" have gotten more and more shrill, to the point where I cringe whenever I watch them. It is pretentious and self-indulgent that he ends with the bloody 'let's ape Edward R. Murrow' "goodnight and good luck." I don't know what the hell Clinton was getting at when she made those remarks--obviously, they were at best very poorly chosen words. But to suggest that she is waiting for someone to bump Obama off? I don't think so.

Robert

11. Am I the only one...
...who has noticed that Hillary is slowly morphing into Glenn Close's character in Fatal Attraction? Are we all going to sit around watching until she comes flying out of the bathtub, butcher knife in hand? My hats off to ya Keith. I know how it must pain you to go after someone you previously so admired but somebody has to acknowledge the elephant in the room. Before my eyes Hillary has gone from front runner, to formidable opponent, to tenacious competitor, to ruthless and underhanded; and is now squarely entrenched in bat shit crazy.

He has a right to be! Many of Sen. Clinton's previous remarks, as he points out, were reprehensible; her injecting of race into the campaign was despicable.

The comments about assassination are beyond the pale. A lot of us, who remember the assassinations of the '60s are still hurting, and many of us feared the horrible possibility that someone might assassinate candidate or President-elect Obama.

This has gone way beyond the fact that the campaign has drug on too long. Sen. Clinton has spent her political capital, she has destroyed any respect I still had for her. She is a outright detriment to the Democratic party, and in raising the specter of her opponent's assassination, she has become detriment to the democratic process.

It's time for her to go, whining, from the campaign and sink into the obscurity she so richly deserves.
