| 5. This is really surreal |
 |
It might be off topic, but isn't it fascinating that something like this could happen and get captured on camera, and then actually distributed so that we all can see it? I'm pretty much amazed.

| 7. Apparently, this behavior is par for the course |
 |
A quick Google search reveals that the "Shrek" incident is just a recent example of Mrs. Conyers' volatile and childish behavior. She drips condescension and smug superiority in addressing the questions of the children.
Hopefully the people of her council district will remember such behavior in the next round of elections.
What an embarrassment.

if he has to deal with that all the time at home.
No wonder he speaks so softly.

| 10. The 6th grader raised the question, the 8th grader smacked her down |
 |
I know, six of one, a half dozen of the other.
When Conyers said, "And now you are telling me what I should and shouldn't have done", the 8th grader should have said, "I know, isn't that sad that you have given me no choice?"

"Shrek" is not the only offense. The parliamentary leader told her to quit interrupting and she didn't.
