BUSTED. She can't respond because she hasn't been told or already figured out an answer to it. That means she'd have to rely on either A) Telling the truth OR B) Quickly figuring out a response that fits all your other stated (true?) positions. Clearly, she immediately ruled out A and couldn't be quick enough to execute B.
That's the problem with those damn tangled webs!!! Stop trying to deceive us!!

Agree or not, people listen to voice tonal quality and decide sub-conscientiously that they do or do not like a candidate. She has ingratiating harmonics. She got those under control but the laugh in this clip was a slip. It is a big problem.
As she goes into the general election - if she wins - her voice (and laugh) will be heard much more. She can not win the election because of it. She must resign and quit doing further damage to the party and her reputation. She can not win.

If her supporters can't see how fucking corrupt the Clinton's are, they are delusional. This woman thinks we are collectively stupid. Well Hillary, the sane amongst us are on to your shit. But like you said, reality and facts have no bearing on those in a delusional state.

She tried to buy time with the phony laugh, but couldn't come up with the right non-answer. Every time she started, she realized that that response might raise more issues. This is not a person in control, who should be in charge of the world's most powerful nation. That 'answer' was very worrisome.

She was totally unprepared. And she does not inspire confidence. I mean, grabbing her head and asking how does she answer the question? She's a politician. They talk for a living. If she's doing this in the primary campaign, can you imagine what she would do in the GE?

the truth, if used, would have been handier. To struggle that hard meant she was trying to think of a convincing lie and flat out failed to do so.
Even if she finally came up with something in an extended clip, the "tell" is the laugh, head bob, "angels on a pin", etc.
she'd be a lousy poker player

I saw her do an "appreciation" clip for an entertainment show. She was supposedly admiring Cher, who supports HRC. But during the entire recording, HRC was shaking her head "no". She doesn't really like Cher. Her body was contradicting every *kind* word she uttered.
Body language gives it away every time.

It was in the '92 election season, the famous Baba Wawa interview when she was talking about the early scandals, how she and Bill had put it all back together and all, meanwhile shaking her head "No." I remember my wife commenting on it at the time.

There are many intelligent people who are unable to think on their feet, and she is a prime example.
If she were actually trustworthy, she could be a good president. But she is not trustworthy, or likeable. So she would almost certainly be a disastrous president, given the challenges our next president will face.

I was already supporting Obama, that does not seem likely to change.
But I used to like and support the Clintons, and despite their many flaws--even the ones so painfully displayed here--Hillary would be far better than McCain.
But that's just a collapse, a failure to think on her feet or to be adequately prepared, the illustration of a painful and damning bit of corruption and dishonesty, and an illustration of untrustworthiness all rolled into one.
I mostly just feel sorry for her. I am reminded of a line someone spoke about Goethe when he ill-advisedly decided to venture into one of the cutting edge scientific debates of his day: "The painful spectacle of a great man making a fool of himself."
