Sadly, for Minnesotans, EVERY day is April Fool's Day as long as we have Norm Coleman representing us in the U.S. Senate...

We have two excellent candidates on the DFL side, either who should beat him in the fall; either will restore the integrity of Paul's seat.

nice up.

3. A little bio info for non-Minnesotans:

Coleman campaigned in 2002 for the United States Senate, after being persuaded by Karl Rove to channel his electoral efforts from a second race for governor to a race for the senate seat against incumbent Senator Paul Wellstone. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2002, narrowly defeating former Vice President and former U.S. Senator Walter Mondale (D-MN), who entered the race as the Democratic candidate after Senator Wellstone died in a plane crash on October 25, 2002. Polls had shown Coleman to be in statistical dead heat with Senator Wellstone.<6>

Coleman began his illustrious career as a Democrat, elected mayor of St. Paul MN in 1993. After becoming a Republican, he was somehow re-elected mayor in 1997. Jesse (the body) Ventura beat him for Governor in 1998.

Living in a neighboring state, I have regarded him as equivalent to a slime-mold for years. His personal charisma became legendary after wide internet distribution of intimate photographs of his cosmetic dental improvements, so we saw much more than anybody should have to see of Norm Coleman's toothery, Before and After.

4. The "boner" also did one that was revolting.....
concerning hugo chavez and how he and the dems were in cahoots.

According to a relase, "On April Fool’s Day, Boehner Releases Testimony of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in Advance of Dems’ Hearing on Oil Industry; Though Chavez Was Not Invited to Today’s Politically-Orchestrated Hearing on the Oil Industry, South American Socialist Dictator Would Enjoy Billions in Tax Breaks Care of Democratic Majority."

Chavez's hearing title: “Drilling for Answers: Oil Company Profits, Runaway Prices and the Pursuit of Alternatives.”

Part of Chavez's written testimony: "Being a socialist dictator is a difficult – and often lonely – burden these days. As more nations move toward democracy, the number of socialist dictators in our world is declining, and we can use all the help we can get. As I seek to keep our socialist movement afloat in South America, it is comforting to know that I have such strong allies in the House Democratic Majority."

And, "Moreover, I am so grateful that you have overlooked my repeated threats to cut off Venezuelan energy supplies to your nation and my consistently cozy relationship with the Castro regime in Cuba – regardless of which Castro is in charge. To know that I will receive tax breaks not provided to my global competitors, even in spite of my radical Left-wing, authoritarian ideology, gives me great confidence in my future relationship with this Congress."

The (fake) Chavez was sure to apply his manners too: "I hope you will relay that message to your Democratic leadership team, and I appreciate the opportunity to thank you for your ongoing assistance to my socialist regime."

Fuck you Boner!!!
