Now, as to Bill Maher, he is a funny guy, and there's some interesting and humorous things to what he says -- but you gotta remember he doesn't always get everything right, after all he's the one who said on Craig Ferguson's show that if he was a kid, he'd rather be diddled by a pop-star like Michael Jackson than get beaten by bullies:

Are you going to drag in something that has got absolutely nothing to do with this... just because you're paranoid and you heard things in this video that weren't in there?

And for what it's worth: I think that was a classic Bill Maher joke. It was one of the funniest things he has ever said. I wish he made some more. And I think that people who can't take anything, who take sarcasm and satire seriously, should turn of the fucking tube.

As to hearing things that aren't there, I didn't. I thought a couple of the things he said were very funny, but Bill Maher who is a wealthy diletante, who does all kinds of drugs and wants them legalized and has a wretchedly promiscuous viewof sexuality -- which is all fine for him -- free country, his choice -- but he is not ever going to be the moral compass for me. Nor do his ideas about the black-white situation in this country match with mine nor my experience so he' welcome to his ideas and he can keep them.

The other comment in my postwas to the other Hillary supporter who feels as I do that we wereall on the sameside 5 years ago taking sh*t from the Right-Wingers and now the Hillary supporters have been put on the opposite side of the Obama supporters and we're taking sh*t from the Obama supporters as ugly and stupid as the RWs!

Ferguson was appalled at the remarks and hurried Maher off the show.

I have not trashed any Obama people like an RW, but plenty of them or you have broken the rules trashing us Hillary supporters calling us Repugs, Racists, Right-Wingers and Trolls.

You're the one who needs to grow up and recognize that you do not speak for everyone, nor are you the arbiter of what is humorous and what is disgusting lack of moral or ethical sense.

Being a parent, I'm willing to bet that most people who have children didn't find those remarks humorous at all.
