I have a passion for Genealogy, and DNA testing has really opened up interesting new insights into our ancestry. For men, it traces DNA going back through the male line, and with the women, through their mothers. In New Mexico, Hispanic men have been showing all the various mixtures of heritages we Hispanic New Mexicans can be from Native American to Scandinavian via Spain. For over 60% of the women, Native American shows up. It just points to what I've always known, the Spanish didn't bring many women with them.
