Labor Day “Bread & Roses” Concert (benefit tribute for union maid Anne Feeney)

Labor Heritage Foundation, in conjunction with producer Pam Parker, will honor legendary singer/song writer, activist, social justice, and workers’ rights advocate Anne Feeney during a Labor Day Concert at Bus Boys & Poets in Washington DC, September 5, 2011 at 6pm.

An impressive cadre of artists will pay tribute both to workers around the world and in the US during our Labor Day Concert, and at the same time, raise funds to help support Feeney as she continues on her journey to health and recovery.
The concert will feature:

ANNE FEENEY, CHARM CITY LABOR CHORUS, DC LABOR CHORUS,

EMMA’S REVOLUTION, LUCI MURPHY, PAM PARKER, & JOE UEHLEIN!

“Bread and Roses” series hosted monthly at Bus Boys & Poets in Washington, DC, at 1025 5th Street, NW (5th and K Streets). Suggested donation is $20.00 but no one will be turned away for inability to pay. Food and drinks available for purchase; Bus Boys & Poets is a full service bar and restaurant.
