BELLEVUE, Neb. (AP) — A tree trimmer in Bellevue has been taken to a hospital in critical condition after coming into contact with a live power line.

Bellevue police say the man was working in a back yard Friday afternoon when his ladder touched the power line. The man was breathing but unconscious when rescuers arrived.

His name has not been released.

2. The Omaha.com headline is misleading...
"Electrocuted" means to kill by electric shock. If he was "breathing but unconscious," then he's still alive.

I hope he recovers. Electricity can be rather nasty...

3. A couple years ago a local guy got pulled into the chipper.
Nothing left.

He had removed the safety guard as it was too much hassle to use.

Darwin.
