AT&T Faces Age Discrimination Lawsuit

AT&T has been hit with an age discrimination lawsuit. On Thursday the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed the suit against the company suggesting it has discriminated against older workers. According to company policies workers who retire from the company will not be rehired. The EEOC argues this is discrimination. The lawsuit says AT&T “has refused and continues to refuse to rehire other employees who retired from AT&T under various retirement and severance programs.”
