Despite some unbalanced reporting, Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis's support for the Employee Free Choice Act is not remotely in question. Secretary Solis's labor record is beyond reproach, and her support for the Employee Free Choice Act has never wavered.

Secretary Solis appeared on The Rachel Maddow Show earlier this month, discussing her strong support for the Employee Free Choice Act. Watch:

Here's what Secretary Solis has said just in the last six weeks in support the Employee Free Choice Act:

"The President and I are on record in support of this legislation -- I, as a former member of Congress; he, as a former senator. But he continues, as I do, to believe that this is a good bill, and we would hope to see it pass."

"I hope that the members of the Senate and the Congress will, just as I did when I was a co-sponsor of the bill. Now I am a part of the administration. I know we are going to work hand in hand," she said.
