Please accept our apologies, Mister Hu...
Please accept the apologies of those of us who live in the real world.

The lack of respect our Selected Leader whowed you is not typical of American hospitality. The Bush Administration's playing the Taiwanese National Anthem was as embarrasing for us as for yourself--indeed it embarrassed everyone but our delusional Prezzydent, who I like to refer to as Kim George IL. Yes, we see this and other recent SNAFUs as LIHOP or MIHOP.

Grabbing your jacket was entirely inappropriate. If someone grabbed Prezzydent ding-ding like that they'd be in GITMO before he could blink.

Sorry about the heckler--she was obviously 'MIHOP',too. As you know, GW's audiences are carefully screened so that the most biting question he's confronted with is "Boy you are doing a great job, huh, Mister Prezzydent?"

We saw him toasting you with wine. Is he still boozing? He's resembling Yeltsin more and more and if you could taks some sense into him, we'd appreciate it.

P.S. please tell him his Iran plan is a no-go.

Thank You,
America

19. We may be talking in levels of who does what where and when
please tell me about our so called POW camps, men in prison with out bail or lawyers and 'rendering'? Not that I think Bush is a brutal dictator but their is some thing wrong with that picture also. We fought a war to shop this once. A country that has about 50 agency that hunt underground for 'evil doers' has to have some looking into. I feel shame to have my government do these things in my name and I bet people in China think the same. We just can b----- more. Then we can also say we are not as bad and it may make it right for us? Any improvement on any of us, China or America, would be good and I like America and just hope we can leave it better.

40. Unfortunately...
I think we are becoming more like China just as much as China is becoming more like us.

Right after we went through the sniper killings in the Washington area, some freeper relatives of mine were yelling, "they shouldn't give that guy a trial, it's a waste of money, just take him out back and shoot him".

My reply was, if that's the way you feel, you'd be right at home in China because that's exactly how they operate.

Your trial and execution are held all within minutes. They load you in a truck with about 50 of your fellow convicts, take you out into a field behind the court and shoot your ass. They send your family a bill for the bullet, and they harvest your organs and sell them on the black market.

Democracy is a bitch, ain't it?

in history to just who you wish to take out and shoot. Since I was born in the early '30's I am sure you do not wish to hear the list that has been run by me in all those years.

The Woman Wang Wenji Heckled Jiang Zimen In Malta 2001
There is no fucking way WH security was unaware of that fact. They allowed a woman who heckled Hu's predecessor there for ONE reason to embarrass Hu. Hu knew it. He had asked that security be very careful because he did not want an incident like the one in Malta to occur. These Bush fuckers not only allowed it to occur they bring in the SAME WOMAN! This is what petulant shits do. Bush fucked himself though. You don't humiliate the wealthy uncle who owns your home. Nice going Leroy!

7. P.S.
I hate GW but if, say, China had a meeting w/ him where:

a) they played the Iranian Natinal Anthem
b) their Premier grabbed the Prezzydent like an errant child
c) they let a protester ramble on, shaming him

I'd be annoyed and concerned.

Hu may be an asshat but he's also our PRIMARY LENDER

And as far as I'm concerned, Bush and Hu were made for each other. Two individuals that put business and the institution ahead of the people. Put'em in a cage match and sell tickets.

15. No, It's not
http://www.nytimes.com/2006/04/21/world/asia/21prexy.html?ex=1303272000&en=d9b1bdba98886fe4&ei=5090&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss

Compounding the gaffe, a White House announcer introducing the national anthems at the same ceremony mistakenly referred to China as the Republic of China, which is the formal name of its archrival, Taiwan. Mainland China is the People's Republic of China. China treats American support for Taiwan, a separately governed island that China claims as its sovereign territory, as the biggest irritant in bilateral relations. Even minuscule changes in the wording of diplomatic statements on the subject are often viewed as transformative on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

13. You have a lot of nerve
purporting to represent America. Don't include me as a signatory to your nutty letter. It's absurd to assmume that the anthem snafu was part of a conspiracy to humiliate Hu. Let alone, positing that the woman who protested was less than sincere. As far as your asserting that bush was drinking booze, please, how would you know? Oh, and you do remember Harry, the guy that challenged bush in N.C a couple of weeks ago, don't you? Never mind, I'm sure he's MIHOP too.

18. The "anthem snafu" as you so dismissively phrase it
will be viewed as grievous insult in China. It was a stupid gaffe and a breach of protocol that is simply unbelievable. That the America further reinforces it's image on the World stage as a collection of churlish buffoons may be fine with you, but some of us do care how we are perceived internationally.

21. Please don't put words in my mouth.
I agree with you; it was inexcusably stupid and will indeed be seen as a profound insult in China. What I was dismissing, wasn't the breach of protocol, it was the OP's assertion that it was done intentionally.

31. Come now, Cali....
while none of us has any proof, there is a heck of alot of circumstantial evidence here. Do you think the secret service would be so sloppy as to allow a known dissenter of the Chinese government into the press corps? Do you think they would be so sloppy as to allow that woman to scream for 3 minutes before they hustled her away? I would be willing to believe that the White House is that incompetent, but I don't believe for a second that the secret service is. They do a thorough background check on EVERY SINGLE PERSON that is let onto the White House grounds for these events. You have to submit identification weeks in advance. This was NO ACCIDENT.

36. Dont be sad
It take a BIG PERSON and a BIG HEART to see one self
You do right
But some mindset here
Hehe it just them

Mistakes are mistake learning from them one get to be wiser
A refusal to see a mistake or a wrong does not make one better
Worst still the justification that hence the other is bad allow one to act bad

Very normal human behaviour all this.
Just a question of do we all want to be a better person

You did right
