38. No one decides for me
I have voted in every presidential election since 1972. From this point forward, I will not vote for the lesser of two evils.

40. Then you'll have no say.
And any vote between two people can be looked at as voting for "the lesser of two evils" (or not) if you want to make a point.

But that's really just rhetoric.

It's a half-empty/half-full scenario. The pessimist will call it voting for the lesser of two evils.
The optimist will call it exercising one's right to vote for the better of two candidates.

who says that every thread has to be productive? How is spending hours on DU really doing anything about '06? Yes we can share ideas and do some mobilizing, but how many threads out there in GD are about that? How many threads did we have today about Bush at 33%?

in a race today, I don't want to run Hilary, and I'm not sure Kerry could win (has anyone ever won a presidential race after losing the previous one? honest question.). I still say Edwards.

edit: spelling, durr.

Edited on Thu Apr-20-06 07:53 PM by HamdenRice
Kerry's not my first choice or even my second now, but I was thrilled to vote for him last time and would do so again if he is the nominee.

If Hillary is the nominee, I will change to the Green Party. I feel she is being rammed down our throats by the RW MSM -- and for some substantive reasons.

he doesn't have a snow ball's chance in hell (Hillary has even less of a chance) of beating anyone the republicans may run.

It's time for new blood . Kerry, hillary , Gore, Clark, Kucinich, Dashle - all sure losers.

woodwork and score? -- too silent on issues afraid to upset the status quo, but she figures that's the way the game is played? -- hell, elections are stolen these days darlin, haven't you noticed?!!

Heck, you can poll anyone againt Hillary on DU and they'll beat her here. Anywhere else among Dems, and she mops up the competition. Having said that, let's hope that Clark pulls through next time. If he could somehow beat Hillary in the primaries, I think he'd be a shoo-in for president.
