I'm not watching the hearings, but saw the clip of her afterward telling Alito "that was magnificent", and she had that pinched lips, prim schoolmarm look that he has. Always ooky when husbands and wives look alike.

11. It's much better than yesterday's red suit. The color is better for her.

And the bead necklace is "in" right now. Those big beads don't look bad with her outfit, but it is a very casual look with the cable sweater. I didn't see the chain, maybe she thinks she doing the mixing of chains that is popular right now. But you don't usually do that with the big beads, so maybe it is a good luck piece.

I can't get any animosity going about her, though. I'll save that for the Senators who will jump through hoops to get this guy confirmed. Alito is just too comfortable with big government, bureaucracy, and presidential power and not with the real focus of the Constitution, the rights of the American people.
