12. When they make him up as part of a skit, he looks a bit more like *.
Caliendo is really brilliant.

7. Spot on, voice-wise.....
however his statement that Bush could never lie without being caught is completely wrong. Bush lied his way into an entire war and the American people bit..... hook, line and sinker. Bush is a VERY proficient liar but the sheer volume of his lies is what's getting him into trouble. One who lies as much as Bush must have a very good memory. Our room temperature IQ pResident doesn't have the intelligence to keep all of his lies straight.

10. Yes, he does excellent impressions.
Great modulation and a precise character study.

I'd say the best Bush impression I've ever seen.
Hell, I'd bet he could do an impersonation dead-on with a good make-up crew and minus 20 lbs.

13. thanks to Hollywood makeup (and increasingly, CGI) ...

It's not necessary to have a physical resemblance to the "target" anymore. The guy who does the Bush impression on Leno's show looks nothing like him either. There are a bunch of performers who have a similar facial structure (like Timothy Bottoms) but the really funny stuff is based on the voice and mannerisms, as you point out.

Oh, and various DUers have noted that Bush appears to have put on a few pounds as a result of giving up jogging ... at this rate, Frank Caliendo won't have to lose any weight!

11. It was funny, but. he's trying to say Bush isn't a good liar and doesn't
lie or isn't in trouble.

Well the fucker is a liar and he is in trouble and still lyin.

14. Wasn't he invited to some radio/entertainment event with Cheney?
He did this same act on that appearance as well as when he was on MadTV. Cheney was filmed laughing at Caliendo and agreed the impression was spot on. I don't think Bush was in attendance. Caliendo is a comedian. He doesn't seem to have any problem with Bush whatsoever and has been doing this same act for the pass two or three years as I recall. The fact that he agreed to be a trained monkey for crash-cart does not sit well with me. Hell, even Jessica Simpson turned down the Neo-Con thugs...
