Anyone heard of M2000 or Stephen Xirinachs
Edited on Wed Apr-12-06 09:35 PM by khair75092
I was wondering what his political affiliation was and what kind of background he has. My wife was invited to the Easter Egg function on the White House lawn Monday through him to represent National Relief Charities. A company that raises money for the less fortunate Indian tribe. Apparently the Houma tribe and several others will be there.

It was going to be an opportunity to get thier charity in front of some high profiled news networks.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

2. I've lurked in behind for a long time

I really think this is a resourceful website full of information. I didn't realise to post a new thread, you had to make 10 posts, but I'm looking forward to giving insight on a lot of topics on here that I totally agree with... And some that I disagree with.

I just wondered about this M2000 group and what they stood for because it is a really good opportunity for her company to really shine right before they start working corporate donations. I've done several google searches without much luck at all. I just hate to see this be some kind of extremeist group or someone with less than a sub-par reputation. If that's the case, it could leave several people with black eyes.

Thanks for trying to help though... I really appreciate it.

9. That's what I'm thinking
In any case. It will be neat to see the White House.

Maybe I can get close enough to Shrub to let him know what a fraud he is.

10. I Remember Seeing It On My 8th Grade Field Trip.
It was amazing at the time, and awe inspiring being in DC. But that was back when I was completely ignorant to how the government can really work and back when I thought our country was nothing but great and I was standing in view of symbols of heroism, freedom, and hard battles fought for this great nation. It almost brings a tear to my eye when I reference my idealism back then to the reality I have in my head now. It is truly sad, very very sad.

11. I also found this about his partner
May 16, 2005 -- "SantoSubito.US" Internet web site, based on the Latin translation of "Sainthood Now," is calling for all Catholics and all Americans to applaud Pope Benedict XVI for his decision to expedite sainthood for Pope John Paul II.

"Few Popes, if any, have generated the universal outpouring of love and respect as Pope John Paul II has from people of all faiths and religions" said Richard Rovsek, a San Diego marketing executive who founded the web site.

"Many Catholic priests, bishops, and even Cardinals have expressed their desire for immediate Sainthood for Pope John Paul II," Rovsek said, "and so it is important that people of all religions support Pope Benedict XVI's decision to expedite sainthood on a 'fast track' basis."

Rovsek said he developed the special Internet web site, www.santosubito.us, "after hearing the huge throng, more than 100,000 attending Pope Paul II's open air funeral, shouting 'Santo Subito' for the charismatic Pope John Paul II."

He said that Vatican officials had previously explained it would be necessary for Pope Benedict to waive the usual 5-year waiting period for sainthood."

Rovsek said that "Vatican experts have noted that, even with the waiting period lifted, a lengthy investigation into John Paul's life and confirmation of 2 miracles attributed to him would be required before he could be beatified."

He said there is no charge for recording each petitioners support for sainthood for Pope John Paul II on the www.santosubito.us web site, "which will be automatically forwarded instantly to the Vatican web site in Rome."

If the signer of the petition wishes, one of Pope John Paul II's prayers can be downloaded from the web site at no charge, or a special wallet-sized card of the prayer can be ordered, via the web site for a nominal $2.95 to help defray the costs of the printing, shipping and handling.

Additionally, Rovsek has arranged for a special 8"X 10" commemorative lithograph certificate depicting Pope John Paul II, the Vatican, and the Pope's seal, suitable for framing and personalized with the name of the petitioner, to recognize each person's support for his beatification.
