First of all, I assume you mean Dems that received money from Abramoff, which is closer but not exact.

The site has a listing of people who received money from Abramoff directly and his clients. His clients contributed to both parties, starting before hiring Abramoff. This is not the controversy.

On the other hand, check on direct contributions from Jack and Pamela Abramoff. All such contributions are to Republcians.

While not represented in this data, also look at all the people suspected of exchanging favors for money. These are all Republicans.

Howard Dean said they studied all lists and there is no direct connection between Abramhoff and ANY Democrat.

Some of these Dems received $$ from clients of Abramhoff. The Indian tribes are an example. But Abramhoff's clients are not Abramhoff. And many of the Indian tribes had been donating to various Dem politicians since long before they became clients of Abramhoff.
