Discovery Science Channel Sunday Night
I was watching half asleep and there was a lady scientist that was inventing stuff to counter balance big brother type government actions.

Like: A model helicopter designed to film organized protests with software to estimate crowd numbers, to counter act MSM's under-reporting of, say, WAR PROTESTS or something.

Anyway, there was about four items our Academic invented that were all basically a check on excess government control and government/MSM news bias.

It was remarkable and if anybody remembers it more clearly than I, info about the episode is appreciated here.

1. Interesting M$M estimation of crowds in Dallas...
Edited on Mon Apr-10-06 08:06 AM by Flubadubya
On CNN today they announced that there was a rally of anti-immigration protestors and showed a clip. Each and everyone was wrapped up in an American flag, of course. The shot was NOT a wide angle one, but rather close up. They then proceeded to aver that there were several hundreds of thousands of protestors there. Phew, I'll just bet that's not true, but find it exceedingly interesting that when it is a protest made up of "establishment" types the numbers get magnified rather than diminished.

I truly doubt that several hundreds of thousands showed up in Dallas, but then who can believe corporate media on just about anything these days?

3. OK, thanks...
I'm glad you could give me confirmation. I just can't help being cynical when it comes to the media. You will forgive me for that, of course, eh? :)

5. kick
Like I said, the show had a few other items that together would make a pretty good anti-facist-police-state-kit.

So I'm hoping there's another one amongst us 86,000 DU members that saw it, that happens to have a better memory than I.

Or knows how to get to a better discovery channel episode guide than what I found?

Help, please, save our country here!
